Justified Type

Use this keyboard command to quickly justify type on your document.

Make a Type Box

  • Get the Horizontal Type tool.
  • In the Tool Options, choose a font and put the settings to your liking.
  • On the document, click and drag out a type box and type to fill the box.

Justify the Type

  • On the document, click and drag to highlight all the text in the type box.
  • Press Ctrl Shift J (Mac: Cmd Shift J).
  • You can easily switch orientations by clicking the alignment icons in the Tool Options.
